Handcrafted in the highlands of Jalisco from Weber blue agave, agave piñas are selected for sweetness and slow cooked in traditional brick ovens. This time-honored method allows the flavors and sugars to develop alongside distinctive herbal notes, sweetness and richness of cooked Agave.

The aguamiel undergoes 100% natural fermentation, followed by a meticulous triple distillation in copper stills. This extra step helps to refine and elevate the flavors, resulting in the exceptional quality and smoothness that defines Baluarte Blanco.  Baluarte Reposado is aged for 4 to 6 months in white oak barrels, while Añejo is initially aged for 12 months in white oak and finished in French oak for 3 months, making Baluarte a uniquely aged 15-month Añejo.

Baluarte Blanco

Great body, fragrant cooked agave scents with fresh herbal hints. Sweet flavor with overtones of vanilla, caramel and herbal notes from the freshly cut agave plant. It brings a clean finish with a soft aftertaste.

Baluarte Reposado

Clear and brilliant light gold. Delicate fruit aromas, pear and cooked pumpkin, subtle oaky hint. Great balanced flavor: sweet cooked agave with chocolate, honey overtones and a subtle buttery touch.

Baluarte Anejo

Aromas of red fruits, cherry and banana, citrus, accompanied by sweet notes, wood and subtle chocolate. Extremely soft, silky in the mouth, balanced flavor of caramel, vanilla, banana, oak and cherry.
