Founded in 1901 by Luigi Gozio at Gussago, a town in the hilly wine region of Franciacorta in the Province of Brescia. Initially focused on the distillation of pressed-grape dregs and wine sediment using traditional methods, sons Paolo and Giuseppe modernized the business by installing steam distillation to achieve purer products.

The secret lies in the quality of the raw materials, carefully selected and proportioned with masterly skill. Amaretto is made using top quality almond, peach and apricot stones put to infuse in alcohol and sugar for a delicate, aromatic flavor. A sweet, smooth almond liqueur suited to all occasions.

Today, Distillerie Franciacorta is a leading brand name in the industry. Their philosophy of quality excellence seeks to combine technological evolution with traditional recipes and production methods. Amaretto is a symbol of Italian quality, produced using only the highest quality natural ingredients: alcohol, burnt sugar and the pure essence of stone fruits. Only the best quality bitter almonds are used in the recipe to enhance its bouquet, aroma and taste.

Amaretto Villa Vittoria

Rich, aromatic profile strikes a perfect balance of nutty sweetness and a signature bittersweet finish. Aromas of freshly toasted almonds, sweet marzipan, and delicate vanilla. Creamy and velvety, a dense, concentrated marzipan flavor. Warm and slightly spicy, bitter almond note in the finish prevents sweetness from turning cloying.
